The Westaim Corporation will hold its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders and Investor Briefing on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. The meeting will be held at the Glenn Gould Studio, Canadian Broadcasting Centre 250 Front Street West in downtown Toronto. An agenda has been posted on the Westaim web site, www.westaim.com.
